Hi.

Are there any more specific answers to the three things mentioned and others to get included in the directory. As one of the things that I got an email about last month when I wanted to be included, was that a swicki needed to be related to a website. That part is a problem if you make a video swicki, there is no option to add your website.

For connection to your "website", I see newly accepted swickis that do not have a "visible" link to any website. Does that mean it is not strictly followed?

-Regular Traffic - what is regular traffic? having +100 searches /day for one week, or having +10 searches /day for 1 year? I had swickis peaking at 9000 searches and currently only have about +5/day.

-Clean Design, since you can not have any custom HTML before you are accepted, how can you make a swicki look ugly?

-Well Trained - This one is really a no brainer.. only keep related keywords to the swicki. Problem occurs when you have a swicki that is "general". Solution is: only keep keywords that are accepted with Google Adwords, don't add keywords even if they are searched 1000 times per day, unless they exist and are used in Google Adword system.

Hi TomYam - Good questions. First off, wanted to point out that there is now a manual review in place before we include swickis in the directory. Because of this, it may be a month or two before you find your swicki in our directory.

Taking a step back, I'd like to point out that our swicki directory serves as a showcase for quality swickis that people will find helpful or entertaining. If a swicki builder isn't generating regular traffic to their swicki, it will become considerably less resourceful for the user.

The easiest way to get your swicki included in our directory is if you add the widget to your site. If you do not have a site where you can add the swicki, we will then look at the traffic, design, and training of the swicki.

To answer your questions:

Regular Traffic: At least 20 searches/day

Clean Design: Not as much of an issue now, though there are some swickis that still have spammy templates

Well Trained: More tips on this in the forum, but mostly we want to make sure that the buzzcloud contains relevant terms that will promote repeat searches, and we'd like to see at least 10 quality sites favored and at least 10 sites blocked.

hi Alex,
i got few of my swicki approved for ads. but it's not in the directory.
is it different procedure?
why not automatically approve for ads and put in the directory in one simple procedure?
